I hope one day Boomerang gaming (Wolfgang) and JPL (Chainz) will merge so we can once again restore order in the mount and blade community it has been far to long since we have had just the one. I think we can all agree we all need to grow up and play the game. Us regiment leaders all know the game is dying and the only time we can actively recruit is steam sales and school holidays.we need to look to more better options we need to take the route the EU player base does and has multiple LBs at once to accommodate the community and also just forget about MOV they are nothing guys. I know this is the best thing to do to strengthen the AU community as a whole.

I agree with your main sentiment, and I've always tried to push for a united community, or at least non-clashing events where everyone attends instead of splitting the numbers in half.\\?a0 However I don't agree with some of the ways in which you propose we go about this.

1. Having multiple events on at once does the opposite of unite the community. We don't have the numbers to warrant 2 events at once as we struggle to fill a 200 slot server. Our number one priority should be to get 200-player events again, because it is one of the biggest perks of the game and something you can't really get in any other combat-skill oriented games.

2. Leaving MOV out may not be the way to go. In an ideal world we'd all coexist and play together on the one event, but doing this may prove harder than one would hope. I think the best way to solve any dispute between parties is for both parties to try and be friendly again instead of acting more belligerent, which only serves to make things worse. We need to band together every member of the warband community if we want more players at events. More players at events is the most important thing, and I think too many people forget that. We seem to be happy with 100 players at an event, but really that's only 50 players per team. 100 is obviously much better.

The first step is communication. There are certain people who are almost impossible to communicate or reason with, but we should at least try. If we all come to the table with nothing but good will I don't see what ill could come of it. A united community will probably never happen, but I'd love to see non-clashing events with all players playing on the one server again. There's no reason that shouldn't be happening and Warband simply doesn't have enough active Australian players to justify doing anything but that.

Southpaw, we regularly get linebattles with 170-200 players. The campaign normally has an overfill.

As far as combining communities, I don't see any real need for it- provided the communities can coexist and co-operate like we've seen between BG, JPL and 84e.

JPL is a very different community to BG, which is good as it provides a different dynamic, a more casual, public community with a laid back approach. Kind of like what MOV should be, but failed to do.

BG brings in that competitive aspect which so many of us love and crave.

Pretty much everything Southpaw said I agree with. I disagree with the main point about "restoring order" as I don't think there ever was order in the M&B community, it was just a nicer mess that what it is and has been.

The big issue is that not everyone gets along, and therefore multiple communities are required so that the people who get along don't have to play with the people the don't like. It seems a bit childish but that's how it is, and that's the best way. You shouldn't be trying to force everyone together. Nor should you try and forget about other communities.\\?a0 Like MOV or OcG. They're still people, still players. If you're trying to form a 'super community' then you need all of the communities.

To what end? The 42nd has strived to remain neutral, and therefore we attend good events every day of the week. I don't see any need to combine the communities whatsoever.

I was banned for some time, but I made an effort to repair relations.

Either way, even if you weren't to include MOV events, there are events almost every day of the week. This is, the way I see it, the biggest the NW community has been in a while.

But first steps is to start uniting regiments, like the 95th and 84e have and I know there is alot of talks of alot of smaller regiments banding up in a coalition and it in my eyes and I forgot to mention in my earlier post its how this community can form together as one and build the lost relations.
